Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a man allegedly killed his wife and daughter by slitting their throats in Assam’s Cachar district on Friday.
The accused identified as Rabindra Kumar, a resident of Silchar, has been arrested and is being interrogated, the official said.
The incident took place at Kumar's residence.
According to the sources, over family issues, a man killed his wife and an 11-years-old daughter.
The deceased identified as Monika Dogra and her daughter has been identified as Riddhi Baadgal.
Kumar was working as a constable in the Srikona Assam Rifles.
