Guwahati: Rickshaw puller carrying pistol arrested

Guwahati: A rickshaw puller was arrested by Guwahati police on Monday for allegedly carrying a 7.62 mm pistol in the Paltan Bazar area.

According to sources, the arrested rickshaw puller was identified as Ajay Kumar Prasad, a resident of Bihar.

However, police seized the pistol and five live cartridges from his possession.

The police have initiated an investigation into the case.
