Guwahati: At least 25 cattle heads has been rescued by Assam Police on the outskirts of Guwahati on Saturday.
Based on secret information, a team of Sonapur police had intercepted a truck, said sources.
During the checking, the police team recovered 25 cattle heads from the truck, sources added.
Sources further added that the truck with cattle heads was heading from Nagaon to Guwahati.
However, the driver fled before the police could arrest him.
