Assam: Suspected ULFA-I cadre arrested in Charaideo district; arms and ammunition seized

Guwahati: Assam police on Saturday arrested a suspected United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I) cadre from Sonari in Charaideo district.
The arrested cadre has been identified as Khanjan Nath, a resident of Phulguri in the Nalbari district.
According to sources, he was arrested from a stone crusher at Sonari-Namtula road.
Police also seized a 7.65mm pistol, one magazine, and three rounds of ammunition from his possession. A mobile phone was also seized from Nath.
