Guwahati: GMCH Worker Commits Suicide

Guwahati: A worker employed at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) committed suicide at the hospital premises itself on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Papu Das.

As per sources, Das injected poisonous drugs into his body and committed suicide.

The employee took this action as a result of a dispute he had with a senior officer, sources added.

Three weeks ago, he joined the hospital and worked as an ICU technician at the hospital.
