Assam: ULFA-I Cadre Surrenders in Sonari

A member of the United Liberation Front of Assam-Independent (ULFA-I) surrendered himself in Sonari under Charaideo district of Assam today.

The surrendered cadre of ULFA-I has been identified as Pankaj Gohain, also known as Bhaurav Asom.

He joined the outlawed terrorist group in 2018.

The cadre surrendered himself to Charaideo District Police.

It may be mentioned that earlier in August this year, two ULFA cadres surrendered themselves to Assam Rifles in Arunachal Pradesh.
They also had laid down arms in front of the troops.
