Assam: Bir Lachit Sena Members nabbed in Morigaon

Two Bir Lachit Sena members were nabbed and handed over to the police in Assam's Morigaon district on Sunday.

According to sources, the duo were nabbed by residents and a dumper truck driver.

The group members are accused of berating the villagers and making demands for money.

The members were nabbed while they were collecting money from dumper truck drivers on Sunday evening.

Many Bir Lachit Sena members were able to flee the scene, but the locals successfully nabbed two of them.

The duo have been identified as Biswa Bora and Hemanta Das.
