Assam : 80-year-old man apprehended for raping 3-year-old minor girl...

Guwahati: In yet another heinous crime, over 80-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a 3-year-old girl in Guwahati on Wednesday. The incident took place in Datalpara, sources said.

The sources added, a minor was tricked by a elderly man by offering her chips and later was sexually assualted. It is to be noted that the accused used to frequently visit their home, the victim's father stated.

A case has been registered at the Fatasil Ambari Police Station, and the accused has been taken into custody, the official quoted as saying.
