Disney's mass layoffs to prevent losses as viewers fall

London:The number of viewers is decreasing on the OTT platform Disney Plus. And as a result, thousands of employees of another tech giant Disney have lost their jobs this time. On Wednesday, 7,000 employees were laid off, the company's CEO Bob Igor said.

In the last few weeks, one of america's largest IT companies is walking on the path of mass layoffs. Several companies like Meta, Twitter, Amazon, Google have clarified that this step is being taken to avoid the loss of the company in the midst of the financial crisis. Disney Plus's name has also been added to that list.
