Ncp's Mohammad Faisal gets back MP post

New Delhi: Ncp leader Mohammad Faesal's mpship has been returned to the Lok Sabha by the Lok Sabha Secretariat. In a notification issued on Wednesday, Parliament said Faisal will be able to participate in the Lok Sabha again as an MP. Speaker Om Birla had dismissed his mpship after he was sentenced to 10 years in jail in a murder case.

Mohammad Faisal is the NCP MP from Lakshadweep. Two months ago, he was sentenced to 10 years in jail by a local court in Lakshadweep for attempt to murder. The Speaker immediately cancelled his MP post. However, the Kerala High Court later set aside faisal's sentence. And at the same time his MP post.
