Odisha businessman donates Rs 250 crore for construction of first Jagannath temple in UK

New Delhi: Many Indian Hindus live in the UK but there is not a single Jagannath temple in the country. That is why an Indian businessman has donated Rs 250 crore to build the first Jagannath temple in the UK.

The fact that the Indian-origin billionaire donated Rs 250 crore for the construction of Britain's first Jagannath temple in London. Work on the first phase of the temple is expected to be completed by the end of next year. This is reportedly the biggest donation any Indian has made to temples abroad.
