Assam-based Hindi film 'Kooki' to be screened at Cannes Film Festival

Guwahati: A positive news. Ahead of its release, The Hindi language film 'Kooki' made in Assam has been invited to be screened at the world famous Cannes Film Festival. Before its official release on June 28, the cast and crew associated with the film have been invited to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival.

It is to be noted that the Hindi-language film from Assam will be screened at 11.30 am (local time) on May 21.

Reacting to this moment of pride, Dr. Junmoni Devi Khaund, producer, Kooki, said, "I am extremely grateful and honoured to have got the opportunity to screen my debut film 'Kooki' at the prestigious Canne Film Festival, 2024."
