Nature Friend Award 2025 honours to two teenage girls from Digboi

Margherita: Titikhya Hazarika and Trishika Das from Digboi under Tinsukia Dist, Assam have been honoured with the Nature Friend Award 2025 by the National Team for Child Rights & Environmental and Legal Awareness Network Centre.The Award was conferred based as per resolution adopted during a meeting on Child Rights and Environment Protection held on 23rd February2025 at Dibrugarh RKB Law College under the patronage of Padmashri Jadav Payeng(Forest Man of India).As stated Pappu Shah, the secretary of the Legal Awareness Network Centre, Margherita to the media as this Award is given to students of class 1 to 10th for their any contribution to protection of environmental with aim of fostering an early interest in Nature and the environment among children. Notably both Titikhya Hazarika and Trishika Das emerging talents have also earned widespread acclaim for their cultural dance performance at the national level.
