Trump: The Threat

Trump: The Threat

The title of this write up may be provocative, but as common citizens, our observations compel us to lead such assumptions. When a country like the United States of America is ruled by someone who is not less than a trickster, such thoughts arise naturally. We do believe that sitting in a remote village in India and criticizing Doland Trump will not even shake a hair on his head, but still it compels us to do so.

Psychology suggests every person thinks little more about their own interests than others. But sometimes, the leaders of the nations should keep themselves free from fulfilling this natural tendency. Especially when it is a global interest. More importantly, when the nation behaves in a friendly way and works on the same interest. Recently, in terms of global political developments, the chameleonic nature of Trump and his administration have caught significant attention. Once again, they have proved themselves how selfish they are. Except it is not, it is crystal clear that they are inborn selfish. But this time they have crossed the limit. For Trump, ethics or global welfare is secondary in front of their prevalent principle that ‘Business must go on’.

The Trump administration often declares their policy against terrorism in front of the world forum, but in reality; they are now strategically helping the ideology of terrorists. World knows how they suffered after the most devastating terrorist attack on September 11 in 2001. Indeed, it was nothing less than the karma for their self-nurtured terrorist. Osama bin Laden, the culprit behind that incident, was found in Pakistan, the country that manufactures terrorists. They seized every opportunity to eliminate the terrorist Laden, but when it comes to India, they chose to remain as silent spectators. Even in present days also, many globally recognized terrorists are freely cultivating their ideologies in Pakistan. Then what stops the western world to stand against terrorism? Is it not a global issue? India has produced ample proof about the existence of those terrorists in Pakistan and their nefarious mindset. Naturally, India wants to know why a country like the USA is not confronting Pakistan directly, the prime investor of terrorism. Is it not part of the USA’s policies to maintain global business dominance through terrorism?

Once again, it has been proven that no country likes to share the pressure of other countries. Every nation likes to watch and enjoy others’ crises. Take, for example, America’s so-called friendship with India. More than that India’s ‘Operation Dost’ did not even last half of a year, Bangladesh has also shown its real nature. That is why India must continue an “eye for an eye" policy with everyone. Just as we did during the Ukraine-Russia conflicts. Despite facing immense pressure and warning not to purchase crude oil from Russia, India stood by its own policy. India purchased oil from Russia, refined it, and earned revenue by selling it to the European nations. The ongoing ‘Operation Sindoor’ is a perfect example of India’s self-dependence policy. Simply following digital diplomacy will not work at all.

Helping Pakistan secure IMF funds, signing business deals with Turkey or suggesting the CEO of APPLE stop manufacturing their products raises questions about the USA’s foreign policy priorities. Undoubtedly, the United States of America has undermined the global efforts against terrorism by doing all of this. It’s a clear picture of the western geopolitical dominance over moral and ethical consideration.

As a matter of fact, should we believe that a strong economy like America has started to feel threatened by India’s growing economic power. Considering the favourable atmosphere and market potential, most of the leading companies prefer to establish their business in India. Hence, India is the fourth largest economy of the world now. Or possibly, the destruction of their defense products during ‘Operation Sindoor’ has compelled them to implement Machiavellian policies.

Yes, we do respect that America is a very strong economy. But this does not justify its right to dominate the world in its own interest. If we observe carefully, we will have enough proof that America always likes to gain the proprietorship of the natural resources of the world. Are they the father of the world? If not, why do they interfere in every global issue very frequently?

Even many times, Trump and his administration have failed to maintain diplomatic decorum. Few days back, Trump’s behaviour with the President of Ukraine and very recently, the Trump administration's treatment of the South African President during a diplomatic visit also caught global criticism. A minimum level of mutual respect should have been there while a nation leader is invited by another nation for diplomatic discussion. In this regard, the Trump administration has completely failed. At times, it forces us to wonder, if a diplomat or the President of a country is not treated with proper respect, what would be the condition of the other people, specially those who are foreign job holders or students . Unfortunately, most of us have the tendency of feeling proud to highlight the achievements of our relatives living in America. We might be wrong, but there is some truth that many of them still face the reality of living there as second-class citizens. After holding numerous degrees or advanced skills, living like a second class citizen is really pathetic. If so, our hearts go out to them.

The United States of America cannot be a friend to any country. It appears they recognize no ethics beyond their own selfish policies, especially; when a businessman like Trump reins the power. All the countries around the world have started understanding this fact and it is very important to rise up. Otherwise, the Trump administration may become the cause of threat for all.
