AJYCP stages demo at Biswanath Chariali

Biswanath Chariali: As per the call of the state committee of Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), the Biswanath district committee staged a three-hour sit in demonstration demanding immediate closure of the Lower Subansiri hydel project and demanded the declaration erosion problem as a national problem at Biswanath sadar. The demonstration was attended by Diganta Barua, district president, Dhruba Bora, secretary, Nasir Ahmed, advisor, Biswajit Das, vice president, Priyanku Deka and Nirmal Das, joint secretaries besides other office bearers of regional and branch committees. Later on, they submitted a memorandum through the district commissioner, Biswanath.
