Art, sculpture, recitation and dance workshop concluded

Nagaon: A 10-day workshop on art, sculpture, recitation and dance, organized by Aelita Art and Craft School, Chachal, concluded successfully recently. The workshop aimed to promote the physical, mental, and intellectual development of students during their summer break. The workshop was conducted by noted instructors, including Gaurav Hazarika, Director of Sutradhar, Nagaon, and Murchana Mahanta, a high-degree holder in performing arts. The closing ceremony was held at Nandi Mikir Primary School auditorium and featured melodious group recitations and dance performances by the young students. The ceremony was attended by notable guests, including Rita Bora Saikia, retired District and Session Judge, who delivered an inspiring speech. Other dignitaries, such as Tapash Kumar Pramanik, retired Deputy Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Dipankar Kalita, renowned Cultural Activist, Girish Sharma, renowned lyricist, Aboni Sarma, Head Master of Nandi Mikir L. P. School and Nava Kumar Mudoi, General Secretary of Upper Chachal Bihu Sammilani, also spoke at the event and awarded participation certificates to the students. Jonaki Kalita, Rector of Aelita Art and Craft School, expressed gratitude to the chief guest, honored guests, and all participants for the successful conclusion of the workshop.
