Biswanath Chariali: As part of the Government of India’s efforts to empower tribal communities, two key campaigns—PM JANMAN and Dharti Aba Tribal Rural Development Mission (DA JGUA)—have been launched. In this context, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs will roll out the "Dharti Aba Abhiyan - Awareness and Benefit Supplement Camp" from June 15 to 30, aiming to ensure delivery of essential entitlements at the grassroots level.

The campaign will facilitate services like Aadhaar, Ration Card, Ayushman Bharat Card, caste and residence certificates, KCC, PM-Kisan, Jan Dhan, social security pensions, livelihood schemes, and women-child welfare benefits through village and cluster-level camps.

In Biswanath, a review meeting was held today at the District Commissioner’s office, chaired by DC Munindra Nath Ngatey in presence of MLAs Pramod Barthakur and Diganta Ghatowal. The administration plans to organize four camps daily with support from CSCs, frontline workers, and various departments to ensure that tribal beneficiaries receive timely assistance.

Senior officials including CEO Zila Parishad Liza Talukdar, and Circle Officers from Biswanath and Naduar also attended the meeting.
