Cabinet minister Patowary reviewed Arunodoi 3.0 scheme

Guwahati: Assam’s Environment and Forest Minister and Guardian Minister for Kamrup district, Chandra Mohan Patowary, recently conducted a comprehensive review of the Arunodoi 3.0 scheme in Kamrup, urging officials to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left behind.
During the review meeting, the Minister emphasized that all those who had been receiving benefits under Arunodoi 2.0 must be seamlessly transitioned into the updated version of the scheme. He directed Block Development Officers (BDOs) to exercise extra caution during the beneficiary selection process to avoid excluding any deserving recipients.
Patowary also assessed the progress of digitization efforts related to beneficiary applications and other aspects of the Arunodoi initiative, which aims to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged households, especially women.
In addition to Arunodoi, the Minister reviewed the implementation status of other major welfare schemes in the district, including the Chief Minister’s Eti Koli Duti Pat (One Bud, Two Leaves) scheme, the Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, and the Atmanirbhar Assam Abhiyan. These programs are designed to boost economic self-reliance and support women entrepreneurs and tea garden communities.
The review meeting was attended by several key figures, including Rangia MLA Bhabesh Kalita, Kamalpur MLA Diganta Kalita, the Chief Minister’s Special Duty Officer Hemanta Choudhury, Kamrup Deputy Commissioner Dev Kumar Mishra, Kamrup Zilla Parishad CEO Siddhartha Goswami, District Development Commissioner Sushanta Kumar Dutta, District Committee Member Anjan Goswami, representatives of MLAs, and other senior officials.
The Minister concluded by reiterating the state government’s commitment to inclusive development and directed officials to ensure transparent, efficient, and fair implementation of all flagship schemes in the district.
