Guwahati:After spending several months in judicial custody, Tarkik Borah (also known as Tapan Borah) and Bishal Phukan have been granted bail by the Gauhati High Court in connection with a financial fraud case linked to a trading scam. The decision, issued on Thursday by Justice Parthivjyoti Saikia, pertains to the final case registered against them at Barbaruah Police Station in Dibrugarh district.This ruling marks a major turning point in the long-running legal battle surrounding the alleged trading scam.
