Ranjit Kumar Dass reviews government schemes in Biswanath

Biswanath Chariali: The state Panchayat and Rural Development, Justice, General Administration and Tourism Minister Ranjit Kumar Dass held a review meeting with senior officers of various departments in Biswanath district today. The meeting was held at the conference hall of the new circular house in Biswanath Chariali. The minister had directed for expeditious implementation of various government schemes in the district. The Minister reviewed schemes like MGNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), Chief Minister's Women Entrepreneurship Mission, tourism in the district and directed the officers to expedite their implementation. The minister was accompanied by Behali LAC MLA Diganta Ghatwaal, District Commissioner Seemanta Kumar Das, Biswanath Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer Liza Talukdar, Additional District Commissioners Rakesh Deka and Asim Bargohain, Assistant Commissioner Dixit Das, Block Development Officers, departmental officers and district officials Administration officials and employees were present.
