RGU Students Participate in Academic Exchange Programme at Krirk University

Guwahati: A team of students from Assam Royal Global University (RGU) recently took part in an academic exchange programme at Krirk University, Thailand, held from June 23 to 25. The three-day initiative aimed to enhance academic collaboration and intercultural understanding between the two institutions. The RGU delegation was led by Dr. Arpee Saikia, Associate Professor, and Nibir Pratim Choudhury, Assistant Professor at the Royal School of Business. The programme began with an opening ceremony at the Confucius Room, Krirk University, presided over by its President, Professor Dr. Krasae Chanawong. Academic sessions included diverse lectures and discussions. Highlights included a session on “Innovation in ASEAN Markets” by Dr. Khin Kyi Zin and Chaw Su Thiri, and another on “Metacognition and Critical Thinking in L2 Speakers” by Hlaing Minn Khant. Day two featured talks on “Ethical Finance and Halal Trade” by experts from the Islamic Bank of Thailand, followed by a session on “Digital Marketing Trends in the Post-COVID World” by Dr. Dare Oluwatobi Adekoya. The concluding day focused on “AI & IoT in Business” by Minn Swe. Students actively engaged in interactive group discussions and were lauded by the resource persons for their enthusiasm. Some students were even offered internship opportunities in Thailand. The programme concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where future collaborations were discussed, and certificates and souvenirs were presented by Krirk University dignitaries.
