Sonitpur District Inter School Football & Hockey Tournaments Concludes

Tezpur: The Sonitpur District Inter School Football and Hockey Tournaments 2025–26, organized by the Office of the District Sports Officer, Sonitpur, concluded successfully on Friday. The tournaments featured exciting competitions across various categories, including Under-15 and Under-17 Football for Boys and Girls, as well as Under-17 Hockey for both Boys and Girls. The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from schools across the district, showcasing promising young talent and a strong spirit of sportsmanship. However, the football Tournament Results Under-17 Boys Champion Dhekiajuli HS School, Runner-up, Don Bosco HS School, Under-15 Boys- Champion-Dhekiajuli TE Model School, Runner-up- Nevil HS School, Under-17 Girls- Champion- Dhekiajuli Model TE High School, Runner-up- Hatinga TE Model School. In the Hockey Tournament (Under-17 Girls) Hem Baruah HS School became Champion while under -17 boys category Tezpur Academy HS School became Champion. Pranjal Dehingia, District Sports Officer, Sonitpur, extending his heartfelt congratulations to all participating teams and best wishes to the champion teams for their upcoming state-level competitions said that the champion football teams would represent Sonitpur district in the upcoming State-Level Inter District School Football Tournaments namely Pilik Choudhury Memorial Inter District School Football Tournament (U-15 Boys), Dewkon Memorial Inter District School Football Tournament (U-17 Boys) and Nripendra Narayan Singha Memorial Inter District School Football Tournament (U-17 Girls).
