Unidentified Body Found on Railway Track Near Bijni

Bijni: An unidentified dead body was recovered on Sunday morning from the Bongaigaon-Patiladaha railway line near Bijni under Chirang district, sparking suspicions of a tragic train accident. According to railway officials, the body was discovered at the 176/8-9 kilometer mark on the down line, located a short distance from Bijni Railway Station. Preliminary assessments suggest that the individual may have been struck by a passing train. Upon receiving the report, the Railway Police promptly arrived at the scene and took custody of the body.
