Panchayat season 5 confirmed, Phulera returns in 2026

Mumbai: Following the overwhelming success of Panchayat Season 4, Prime Video and The Viral Fever (TVF) have officially announced that Season 5 of the critically acclaimed series is in the works. The announcement was made on Monday via Prime Video’s Instagram handle, accompanied by a teaser poster featuring fan-favourite characters and the message: “Hi 5 – Phulera wapas aane ki taiyyaari shuru kar lijiye.”

Season 4, which premiered on June 24, shattered previous viewership records and quickly became the most successful installment in the series’ history. It drew massive global viewership, reaching audiences in over 180 countries within its first week of release.

The series, known for its subtle humour, heartfelt narratives, and sharp social commentary, has evolved from a sleeper hit to a global phenomenon. Season 4 featured stellar performances from Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, and others, and was a highlight of Prime Day 2025’s content lineup.

Panchayat Season 5 is slated for release in 2026. As anticipation builds, fans must wait a little longer to return to the beloved village of Phulera.
