SSMB29 : Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra gear up for August shoot

Hyderabad: The excitement surrounding SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated project SSMB29 is reaching new heights, with fans across the country eagerly awaiting updates on the film. Though the makers remain tight-lipped about the storyline and details, speculation and interest continue to grow with every passing day.

In a recent interview with Mid-Day, actor Prithviraj Sukumaran offered insight into Rajamouli’s creative style, stating, “Rajamouli sir chooses large backdrops because he excels at telling a story through big, visual strokes.” This comment has further fueled expectations of a grand cinematic spectacle in SSMB29.

As per India Today, the cast and crew—including Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra—are currently on a short break. Mahesh Babu is celebrating his daughter’s birthday with a vacation in Sri Lanka. Once back, he is expected to dive into an action-packed shooting schedule in August. Priyanka Chopra, too, has blocked significant dates for the project.

Adding to the intrigue, a report from Tanzanian daily The Citizen suggests the film may draw inspiration from the legendary Indiana Jones franchise. The storyline is rumored to revolve around a rugged explorer on a thrilling quest through uncharted territories, facing off against nature, secrets, and powerful adversaries to uncover a world-altering mystery.
