PM Modi Briefs President Murmu on 'Operation Sindoor' Precision Strikes

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday to brief her on the Indian Armed Forces’ precision airstrikes carried out under ‘Operation Sindoor’, targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).The meeting came two weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, in which 26 civilians were killed. The Indian military's retaliatory operation, launched early Wednesday, struck nine key terror sites, including headquarters and training camps belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) — both Pakistan-based terrorist organizations.Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan and briefed her about Operation Sindoor," the President’s office posted on X, along with photographs of the meeting.The strikes were aimed at dismantling infrastructure used to plan and execute cross-border attacks against India, marking a strong and calculated response to the Pahalgam massacre.
