Chaivalry Lartang Crowned Miss Universe Meghalaya 2025

Shillong: Chaivalry Lartang has been crowned Miss Universe Meghalaya 2025, earning the honour of representing the state at the prestigious Miss Universe India pageant later this year. Her win marks a significant milestone in Meghalaya’s rising prominence on the national beauty pageant map. The state-level grand finale was held on June 14 in Shillong, where contestants from across Meghalaya competed in a dazzling event judged by eminent figures from the national pageant circuit. The jury panel included Amjad Khan, Franchise Director of Miss Universe India; Aqsa Varghese, Miss Universe Kerala 2024; and Irene Dkhar, Miss Tourism India. Previously the 1st Runner-Up in Miss Meghalaya 2024, Chaivalry impressed judges this time with her commanding stage presence and poised answers during the Q&A round, ultimately securing a unanimous decision in her favour. She will soon begin intensive training in New Delhi in preparation for the national competition. Her journey is being seen as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring models and youth across the Northeast.
