SIBLAC backs Dalai Lama’s spiritual legacy

Gangtok: The Sikkim Bhutia Lepcha Apex Committee (SIBLAC) on July 5 extended its wholehearted support and deep respect for His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, reaffirming solidarity with his lifelong mission of peace, compassion, and harmony. In a heartfelt message, SIBLAC welcomed the recent statement by the Dalai Lama regarding the continuation of the sacred institution, stating it strongly backs his decision to uphold this spiritual tradition for the benefit of all sentient beings. The message coincided with the spiritual leader’s 89th birthday on July 6, with SIBLAC offering prayers for his long life and good health. The apex body emphasized that the Dalai Lama’s guidance is vital for global peace, not just for Tibet and the Himalayan region.
