Nagaon: A Nagaon based family's selfless act of donating the organs of their 18-year-old son, who passed away prematurely, has garnered widespread appreciation and recognition across Assam. The family's generosity has given a new lease of life to two individuals who were struggling to survive due to kidney failure at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital. Upon learning about the premature death, a team of expert physicians from Guwahati Medical College, with the Chief Minister's permission, approached the family and requested them to donate their son's kidneys.
