Kalpajyoti Foundation provides shelter for stray dogs in Dhubri

Dhubri: A heartwarming effort by Kalpajyoti Foundation, a prominent social and cultural organization in Dhubri, is capturing the admiration of animal lovers in the region. The foundation has taken a significant step toward improving the welfare of stray dogs by constructing shelters to protect them from harsh weather conditions. Led by founder and president Sayan Saha, the members of Kalpajyoti Foundation recently built and installed dog shelters at four key locations across Dhubri and neighboring Gauripur towns. Alongside the shelters, the organization has also arranged for daily food and water supplies to ensure the well-being of the stray dogs. Addressing the initiative, Sayan Saha emphasized the community’s role in safeguarding vulnerable animals. Supporting the cause were notable local figures, including Umesh Kumar Roy, Ward Commissioner of Ward No. 1, and social worker Sanjeev Kumar Kundu, alongside many nature enthusiasts who joined hands to make the project a reality.
