Nagaon Rotary Club organised Health checkup camp
Nagaon: The Rotary Club of Nagaon, RI District 3240, in association with BDG Ramesh Goyal Seva Sansthan, successfully organised a Mega Health Checkup Camp at the 9th Assam Police Battalion Campus, Barhampur recently. The camp witnessed an excellent turnout, with 243 patients availing themselves of a wide range of free medical services. The camp offered vital healthcare facilities including Dental, Eye, ENT, X-Ray, ECG, Pathology, and General OPD. A fully equipped Lotus Medical Bus served as the mobile clinic, where a team of dedicated doctors conducted thorough checkups with modern diagnostic tools. Patients were also provided with free spectacles and essential medicines, while several underwent blood tests and ECG screenings as needed. The camp received immense support from the Commander of 9th APBN, Mukul Rabha, the Assistant Commander, and other senior officials, who were present at the camp and extended full cooperation. Members of Rotary Club of Nagaon who were present and contributed actively included Sanjay Nahata, Vertika Nahata, Ranjana Agarwal, Arun Agarwal, Ravi More, Nina Surana, Bankat Jogani, and Anshul Kejriwal. Additionally, Birendra Jain, Assistant Governor of Zone 11, attended the event, encouraging the team and applauding their service initiative. This community service project was led by Aman Dassani (President 2025–26), Mamta Agarwal (Secretary 2025–26), and Joon Rajkhowa (Chairperson). The efforts of the Rotary Club of Nagaon were widely appreciated by the local community. The health camp reflected Rotary’s core motto “Service Above Self”, reinforcing the club’s unwavering commitment to accessible healthcare for all.
