LNIPE & NERC to host summer sports coaching camp from June 2

Guwahati: The Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), North East Regional Centre, is all set to kick off a six-week Summer Sports Coaching Camp from June 2 to July 12, 2025, at its Tepesia Sports Complex in Sonapur, Guwahati. This comprehensive camp is designed to foster a culture of physical education and nurture athletic talent among the youth through expert-led, structured training sessions. The camp will offer coaching in a wide range of sports including cricket, football, badminton, swimming, hockey, basketball, handball, and tennis. To promote holistic wellness, participants can also take part in yoga, Zumba, and aerobics sessions. The program is open to children and youth interested in building foundational skills or enhancing their sporting capabilities under the guidance of professional coaches. Training sessions will be held twice daily: mornings from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and evenings from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, making full use of the institute’s state-of-the-art facilities.
