Revised timings will impact major trains including the Sealdah–Sabroom Kanchenjunga Express, Coimbatore–Silchar Express, New Delhi–Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express, Kaziranga Express, and the Howrah–Guwahati Saraighat Express, among others. The phased implementation begins with two trains on June 29, followed by five on June 30, two on July 1, seven on July 3, four on July 4, and three on July 5. Key stations affected include Guwahati, Lumding, New Haflong, Chaparmukh, Kamakhya, and Siliguri Junction, among others. NFR has attributed these schedule modifications to ongoing infrastructure improvements, which have increased train speeds and overall network efficiency. The zone has appealed to passengers to check the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) for real-time schedule updates before beginning their journeys. Chief Public Relations Officer Kapinjal Kishore Sharma emphasized that the revisions are part of NFR’s commitment to delivering a faster, safer, and more reliable travel experience.
