Vision center inauguration at Lions Club, Nagaon
Nagaon: Under the dynamic leadership of the active, energetic, and socially committed president, Ajay Mittal, along with his dedicated executive team and members, the Lions Club, Nagaon has successfully set up a vision center at its office premises in Christian patty, Nagaon on Sunday. This initiative reflects their commitment to community welfare and public service. The vision center was inaugurated by District Governor, Lalit Kumar Kothari. The project has been generously sponsored by Manak Chandra Nahata, a devoted and long-standing member of the Nagaon Lions Club and Bharti Nahata. The vision center will offer free eye check-ups by qualified ophthalmologists three days a week at the Lions Club Service Centre. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the incumbent general secretary Hardarshan Singh, Treasurer Madan Saha, along with fellow members of the club Biswajit Mahanta, Ganga Ballav Goswami, Nanu Das, Vinod Khetawat, Malchand Agarwal, Jiten Agarwal, Gurucharan Singh, Bakul Bora, Surendra Banka, Mahabir Agarwal, Devendra singh Sehmi, Dhiraj Bordoloi, Mala Sarma Bordoloi, and many other enthusiastic members of the club, stated in a press note here.
